God, Let Me Play Well
By Gregg Easterbrook

God, let me play well but fairly.
Help me to learn something that matters
once the game is over.
Let competition make me strong but never hostile.
Always let me help my opponent up.
Never catch me rejoicing in the adversity of others.
If I know victory, allow me to be happy;
if I am denied, keep me from envy.
Remind me that sports are just games.
If through athletics I set an example,
let it be a good one.

Here is Team Ferior's own Frank Cavallo riding down the luge course in Salt Lake City, Utah. Frank is formerly a national known "Luger". He retired to become a well respected attorney.

It is with great excitement to note that I will be covering the Summer Olympic Games in Beging China, for Team Ferior. I will be sponsored by the Associated Press in conjunction with their agreement with Team Ferior President John Vrana: We will in the interim, stay on top of the sports world with all the coverage that is relevant and an occasional late breaking scoop or two.Tonight I am in Raleigh for game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Again, a Team Ferior coup. I have no predictions as to the outcome, however I look for the Canes to bounce back at home and would be surprised if they do not hoist the Cup . With the steller play of Rod Brindamor, Justin Williams and Mark Recchi,it seems as if a certain team in the Philly area must be praying for the Edmonton Oilers win.

Anything that can save team Philly and Robert Earl Clarke some embarrassment is all that they seem to be worried about these days. They only worse scenario would have been Eric Lindros parading around any arena in North American carrying Lord Stanley. As we go forward,we would be remiss in any literary endeavor without first offering a sincere word of prayer for John’s wonderful Mother, Anne, who is courageously battling her own physical problem at the moment? It’s necessary to take a step back from the world of sports and appreciate those who have been instrumental in our lives. Anne, we salute you for all you do and we will keep our prayers coming your way as you work your way back to health.

Well. On to the game!!!

Good Spotrs, Good Hockey,

Hockey Bob
